Here's how you can level up your wolf in Final Fantasy 16
In this FF16 Torgal Pedigree guide, we'll tell you everything there is to know about how to level up your favourite wolf companion to make him more powerful.
Increasing Torgal's Pedigree is the key to making your namesake wolf companion in Final Fantasy 16 more proficient in battle, but you'll need to figure out how to level them up first. This is one of the best things you can do in the game, so make sure that you don't miss out on any of the info!
How can you level up your wolf?
Thankfully, FF16 players won't have to do much more than play the game, because their Torgal Pedigree level goes up like Clive's, increasing as you battle various enemies throughout the world and in the story. Being your only controllable companion though, increasing your Torgal Pedigree can also depend on how effectively you command him in combat to pull off combos and achieve kills.
If you're finding it difficult to coordinate Torgal in battle whilst controlling Clive, you can help automate increasing your Torgal Pedigree by equipping the Ring of Timely Assistance. Acquired very early in the game, this very helpful accessory essentially makes Torgal attack and heal automatically instead.
Whilst the Ring of Timely Assistance does take up one of your accessory slots, the payoff of not having to think about utilising Torgal properly in the many battles is well worth it.
What's more, in the latter half of FF16 Torgal will acquire a powerful new form which will make him an even more reliable independent attacker. Altogether, Torgal will become adept enough to raise his Pedigree level on his own.
