Emotes can be a fun way to communicate with other players, and they're often used in group content such as Trials, Dungeons and Raids. Not only this, but emotes can be a great way to get your character to pose and take fun photos of them in photo mode.

There have been a series of new emotes that have been added to FFXIV in Patch 6.5 Growing Light. A lot of these emotes are promotional, and are country-specific, meaning there will be a portion of players who won’t be able to receive some of these emotes.
