How to get Gold Ore in FFXIV
In order to get this resource, the first thing you’ll need to do is get your hands on the Islekeep’s Mythril Pickaxe. You need the following materials in order to make one:
- Four Island Mythril Ore
- Three Island Hawk's Eye Sand
- Three Island Iron Ore
- Three Island Resin
If you need help finding these materials, you can find them in the following places:
- Island Iron Ore is found in Rough Black Rocks near Sunrise Lookout (X: 26, Y:20)
- Island Resin can be harvested from Tualong Trees which are found on the south of the Island (X:21, Y:25)
- Island Mythril Ore comes from Bluish Rocks near Peak Point (X:31, Y:28)
- Island Hawk’s Eye Sand is found in the Mother Lode near Gold Ore
Now that you have your pickaxe, you can then go forward and start mining the Gold Ore.
You can find it in Yellowish Rocks, which look like yellow-grey rocks sticking out from the ground. There are only two types of ore that you can mine on the Island Sanctuary, so they won’t be too hard to miss.
