FIFA 23 Career Mode Best RTG Teams

While there is an abundance of clubs in FIFA 23 that you could choose for an RTG save, we've decided to pick one from each of the top five leagues and then a few wildcards too. Here's the full list of clubs that we have chosen for our FIFA 23 Career Mode best RTG teams list:

  • Wrexham A.F.C. (National League)
  • Paris FC (Ligue 2)
  • FC Ingolstadt 04 (3. Liga)
  • Parma (Serie B)
  • UD Ibiza (LaLiga SmartBank)
  • FC Andorra (LaLiga SmartBank)
  • Athletic Club (LaLiga Santander)

Among this list is quite a wide range of challenges, all with different backgrounds and scenarios, making each of these clubs a worthwhile save. Find out more information about each team below.

Wrexham A.F.C

While this is not their first appearance in FIFA, that doesn't mean that a safe with Wrexham is any less exciting. Being the only non-league English club in the game, it is up to you to climb the footballing ladder straight to the Premier League. Your ambitions don't have to stop there either, as you could be the first non-English side to win the Premier League, or even aim for the Champions League too. Just make sure that it's always sunny over in Wrexham.

Paris FC

The aim with this save is relatively obvious - you have a rather well known big brother in town, and your goal is to overtake them, and become the new defacto Paris team. This can be quite the challenge though due to the immense amount of funding PSG receives, and you might end up losing a few of your best players to them also. But that's all part of the challenge, and what makes this safe so exciting.

FC Ingolstadt 04

Finding themselves in the third tier of German football, FC Ingolstadt 04 is a great save mainly due to their comparatively large stadium. Even in the depths of 3. Liga you'll have the crowd behind you, and that twelfth man can always be important, even in FIFA. Much like Paris FC, your goal here is to topple the giants at the top of the Bundesliga, but probably you'll need at least a couple of seasons to achieve that.

Parma

Home to some of the Italian league's greatest ever talents, Parma has had quite a tumultuous history on the financial side of things that has led them to some hard times in recent years. So, it's your job to bring them back to their historic best, and a side goal of elevating the Serie A to the quality of old too. And who better to help you do it than a returned 44 year old Gianluigi Buffon between the sticks.

UD Ibiza

This save is more of a fun one than anything else, playing off of the status of Ibiza as a party destination for UK tourists. There is something just quite funny about the idea of an Ibiza based club headlining LaLiga, but that's what makes this save so great. You could even put a spin on your transfer business by only signing players on the eve of retirement, giving them a place in the sun to settle down before they hang up their boots.

FC Andorra

Taking FC Andorra to the heights of the Spanish footballing pyramid would be a massive achievement, considering the club isn't even based in Spain. Of course, FC Andorra is based in its namesake, a country wedged in between France and Spain, with a population that is just over half of Wrexham, for reference. It is also owned by Barcelona's Gerard Piqué, so if you're quick enough it would be rather interesting to see him play his own team in LaLiga.

Athletic Club

Finally, our last choice for FIFA 23 Career Mode best RTG team is not a club in lower divisions, nor is it a club who has fallen on hard times - quite the opposite really. Athletic Club is the only Spanish club not named Barcelona or Real Madrid to have never been relegated from the first division, which is staggering due to their very restrictive rule-set. Your goal with this save is to achieve as much as possible, including a league and domestic double (which they haven't won since 1984), and a Champions League which the club has never managed to capture.

So, that wraps up this list of the FIFA 23 Career Mode best RTG teams, giving you a plethora of options and scenarios if you're wanting to craft a story in management.
