Still a very strong squad despite the numerous departures in the summer transfer window, but Chelsea fans will be sure to miss a player like Antonio Rudiger in this year's game, especially with his notable upgrade. Furthermore, even if he wasn't the most prolific in real life, Timo Werner will most certainly be missed from any meta early-game Premier League squad, but that just makes Bundesliga teams an even better option early-on.

We have managed to get a glimpse of a few face stats as part of the ratings reveals so far, and it is a bit of a mixed bag in terms of Chelsea unfortunately. In terms of good news, Kalidou Koulibaly is likely to maintain his status as one of the best centre backs in the game, with 82 pace, 88 defending, and 82 physical, making him a must-buy to solidify your defence.

N'Golo Kanté on the other hand seems to have had a rather remarkable downgrade, despite only losing one rating point overall. He has lost points in passing, dribbling, and physical, but the most notable reduction comes in the form of his pace, which has dropped six points down to 72. While this might not make too much of a difference to his in-game power, as certain cards do seem to have that overpowered aura, it does instil a bit of worry into keen Kanté enjoyers. Still, not something a good old Shadow chemistry style can't fix.

So, that rounds off our list of the FIFA 23 Chelsea ratings, giving you an overview of how the west London team is likely to stack up in the new game. For a look at the top overall performers in the game though, make sure to have a read of our FIFA 23 ratings list.
