As you can see, there are some rather spectacular names included in this promo team, with Kylian Mbappe's first promo card of the year shining right at the top.
How these cards work though is a bit of a mystery at the moment. Contrary to popular belief - and the naming convention - these cards do not seem to be of the live variety, and will not upgrade relative to their nation's performance in the World Cup.
They instead are supposed to reward players who played a key part in their nation's qualification for the tournament, so are more of a retrospective card type - although maybe about a year too late.
There is no indication whether these cards might upgrade if the specific player plays well in the tournament, however, this is rather unlikely considering at least both Werner and Wijnaldum are both injured and not included in their respective nations' squads.
Furthermore, due to the odd release timing, it is unclear when these cards will actually expire, but it is likely that it is on or roughly around December 2, at 6PM GMT.
