While Serie A has the lowest top rating of every top five league in Europe with 87, it has a far better ratings distribution than leagues like the Bundesliga and Ligue 1. Even at rank 25 you're seeing 84 rated cards, meaning that there is an abundance of choice for good players in the league, which makes overall squads and hybrids even more viable.

There are a few particularly strong combinations you can make with various players, that can make hybrid teams a breeze, even with the new chemistry system. A quartet of Tonali, Barella, Skriniar, and Tomori in defense and midfield is near enough as good as you can get at the start of the game outside of the outrageously expensive players.

You could also add in players like Rafael Leão or Federico Chiesa on the left and they should land in with max chemistry, regardless of who else is in the squad. There are also a couple of players like Milinković-Savić and Pogba that are a pace-boosting chemistry style away from being great options, but that obviously adds an additional expense.

So, that rounds off the FIFA 23 Serie A top 25 player ratings list, showcasing all of the excellent cards that the Italian first division has to offer.
