FIFA 23 Title Update 4 Patch Notes

As this is a full Title Update, there are quite a lot of changes that have been included, from new additions, to balance changes, and some bug fixes too which will be appreciated. 

While there is plenty to look at in the full list, there are a couple of highlights that all players will want to know first. They are as follows:

• Added a Win-Loss counter in FUT Champions that tracks performance in Play-Offs and Finals competitions.
• Fixed the FIFA 23 bug where controller and camera settings would incorrectly reset
• Reduced accuracy of outside the foot shots by up to 30%
  • Outside The Foot Shot trait holders are only decreased by 10%
• Improved target selection for semi-assisted through passes, with them now less likely to feel underpowered and go to the defender's feet

The biggest change here is obviously the nerf to trivela shots, especially those from outside of the box. • Fixed an issue where the Squad Builder would sometimes place player items in unintended positions
• Fixed an issue where out of position concept player items did not display chemistry information
• Fixed stability issues in Moments and Objectives
• Fixed an issue where public Co-Op squads did not always show correct chemistry information

Gameplay

• Reduced accuracy of outside the foot shots by up to 30%
  • Outside The Foot Shot trait holders are only decreased by 10%
• Improved target selection for semi-assisted through passes, with them now less likely to feel underpowered and go to the defender's feet
• Increased consistency of Ball Roll skill move in first time situations
• Decreased input sensitivity when requesting a knock on
• Fixed an issue where players could skip the Power Shot animation by quickly requesting a Power Shot during other shot animations
• Fixed an issue where goalkeepers could be repositioned too quickly during corners
• Fixed an issue where players could slow down when attempting to dribble with the ball
• Fixed an issue where auto positioning did not return the goalkeeper to the appropriate position
• Fixed an issue where players could turn with unintended speed when using the directional nutmeg skill move
• Fixed an issue where the ball could be knocked further than intended after a tackle
• Fixed an issue where players would sometimes run over the ball when attempting to shield it
• Fixed an issue where goalkeepers could quickly change direction mid-penalty save
• Fixed an issue where goalkeepers would fail to catch a ball in the box when punching would have been more appropriate
• Fixed an issue where some jostling animations did not play correctly
• Improved assistant referee offside decisions following a physical challenge

Career Mode

• Fixed an issue where Youth Player Potential would sometimes decrease regardless of their performance

• Reduced Power Shot ball velocity in VOLTA
• Fixed an issue where some VOLA ARCADE instructions did not display correctly
• Fixed an issue where Pro Clubs leaderboards did not display correctly when scrolling quickly on PC
• Fixed an issue where the post-match screens did not always display the correct number of goals scored by the player avatar

• Fixed an issue where players sometimes had to advance twice from the Pro Clubs post-match screen

• Fixed an issue where where the game would close quickly after launch on PC

• Reduced default volume on DualSense controllers
• Removed placeholder images in Tournaments
