FIFA 23 TOTW 2 Players
Mohamed Salah is undoubtedly the biggest name to feature in the FIFA 23 TOTW 2, after scoring a brace against Niger late last week. Some players were doubting whether it would be enough to make it in with one of the goals having came from a penalty, but luckily he has, and we have something exciting to keep our eyes out for in packs.
Unfortunately, Lionel Messi didn't make it into this week despite scoring the same amount of goals as Salah, and neither did Neymar, denying us what could have been an all time great TOTW selection. There is still plenty to be excited for though, so don't worry.
Mitrović makes it in for his impressive hattrick against Sweden, which would have been really hard for EA to shut out. Joining him is a high rated Modrić in the midfield, who looks very much primed to slot into any LaLiga themed team. Other big scorers include Diego Dalot, who netted twice from right back in a 4-0 win against Czech Republic, and Kai Havertz, who capitalised on two mistakes to score a double against England.
In terms of defence, a clean sheet and a goal for all three of Virgil van Dijk, Manuel Akanji, and Marquinhos has solidified their place at the back of this Team of the Week, and Wojciech Szczęsny has also squeezed in for a clean sheet against Wales.
