Where is Grimalkin?
The Grimalkin Hunt in Final Fantasy 16 can be found in the Cattery, which is on the southern side of The Sickle in Dhalkmekia, to the east of The Jaw. The best Obelisk to fast travel to is either The Jaw or The Dalimil Inn, but there might be another Notorious Mark waiting for you on your travels if you pick the former.
On the map itself, the Cattery looks like it has some sort of curved tail underneath, and it will be a dead end once you reach it. You will have to fight your way through a few standard mobs before Grimalkin actually arrives, but as a B-class Hunt, it shouldn't be too difficult to dispatch.

What is Grimalkin Hide used for in Final Fantasy 16?
Defeating the Grimalkin Hunt in Final Fantasy 16 will give you the Grimalkin Hide as a reward, and this is a crucial part of the Excalibur craft. This craft is gained by completing the Blacksmith's Blues II plus symbol side quest, and can potentially be a great piece of gear to add to your arsenal.
You will need to pick up a few other pieces if you're wanting to craft the Excalibur sword, but you're getting a big part of the job done right now by taking down the Grimalkin and obtaining the Grimalkin Hide.
