Amazon is getting in on cloud gaming, and what better way to draw people to their platform than by partnering with Fortnite? With that, let's go over our rundown of playing Fortnite on Amazon Luna.
How do you play Fortnite on Amazon Luna?
If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can use Amazon Luna to play Fortnite at no additional cost. If you don't have Amazon Prime but still want to try out Amazon Luma, you can pay a monthly fee to subscribe to Amazon Luna+ and play Fortnite, plus a variety of other titles.
Amazon Luna+ offers a seven-day free trial too, if you want to test the waters before subscribing.
Once subscribed to Amazon Prime or Amazon Luna+, all you need to do to play Fortnite is open Amazon Luna in your browser or download the Luna app. Fortnite is available through Amazon Luna on Windows PC, macOS, iOS and iPadOS, Android phones, Chromebook and Chrome browsers, Microsoft Edge, Fire tablets and Fire TVs, and select Samsung Smart TVs.

Amazon Luna is a relatively new service that allows users to stream games via the cloud. Because Amazon Luna takes advantage of the cloud, you don't need a high-end PC or an expensive console to play a game like Fortnite. Amazon Luna works well with low-end devices like old laptops and mobile phones — all you need is a high-speed internet connection.

Amazon Luna supports cross-progression in Fortnite. If you already have an existing Fortnite account, you can continue where you left off. The first time you try to play Fortnite with Amazon Luna, you will get the opportunity to link your Epic Games account to your Amazon Luna.
For the most part, the entire Fortnite catalogue is available to play via Amazon Luna. If you're on a smartphone or a tablet, you won't be able to play Save the World, but Battle Royale/Zero Build and community-made games are accessible!
If you plan to play Fortnite with Amazon Luna on a mobile device, a Fire TV, or a Samsung Smart TV, you are free to use a compatible controller or touch controls. If Windows PC, MacOS, or Chromebook is more your jam, you can opt for keyboard-and-mouse, if you prefer.
