The Armour of Doom is one of the strongest items that you can find in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, but the supervillain set's power makes it tricky to get your hands on in-game.

Find out everything you need to do to get the Armour of Doom below, and hopefully it'll assist you in your next victory royale.

Armour of Doom location

The Armour of Doom can only be found in the Isle of Doom, and is obtained after capturing the island at the Cauldron of Doom.

The Isle of Doom is a new feature unique to Chapter 5 Season 4, and has a chance of replacing the Loot Island in every game during the Season. It appears as if the spawn chance is around 5%, so don't expect to find the Isle every single game you get into.

If the Isle of Doom does spawn though you'll want to head over there quickly, as the Armour of Doom is well worth the fight you'll likely have to put up.

I didn't manage to get the Isle of Doom to spawn in a number of different attempts, so you'll definitely have to be lucky - and skilled - enough to consistently pick up this item.

Armour of Doom explained

If you're wondering what all the fuss is about then take a look at the following effects, bonuses, and actions you'll gain once the Armour of Doom is equipped:

Abilities

  • Arcane Barrage: Fires arcane projectiles in bursts of 3, each dealing damage in a small radius

  • Foot Dive: Dashes very quickly at the targeted location, dealing damage and high knockback inside the targeted area

  • Leap: Using Leap while in the air propels the player around, or allows them to hover if held

  • Mystical Gigabomb: Conjures and throws forward a massive bomb that explodes on contact, dealing damage in a wide radius

  • Scorch Beam: Fires a beam that deals constant damage while in combat

Effects

  • Gain 500 Health and 500 Shield

  • Shield Siphon: Gain 200 Shield after each elimination

  • Unlimited Stamina

  • No fall damage

You will unfortunately be incapable of building, sliding, or emoting while the Armour is active, but you'll be so powerful that you'll likely not even need any of the three.

You'll also be close to the end of the game, and this item gives you the best chance of securing that victory royale - which in this case will be Doctor Doom themed!
