How does Bounty Boards work?

Fortnite Bounty Boards are environmental devices stationed at different sites across the island. Using a Bounty Board will initiate a Bounty Quest, an in-game challenge that tasks you with eliminating a select enemy player within six minutes time. If successful, you will receive an award of 75 Gold Bars — and if someone poaches your target — you'll get 10 Gold Bars as compensation.

You cannot trigger the same Bounty Board more than once per match, but you can use different boards to obtain multiple Bounties. However, you can only have one Bounty Quest live at a time. Bounty Boards are free to use — so don't hesitate to activate them!

When you take on a Bouncy Quest, your target's general location will be revealed. Because of this, Bounty Boards are an excellent tool to gain extra intel on enemy whereabouts.

How to accept a bounty from a Bounty Board within 30 seconds of landing

One of Chapter 3 Season 2's Week 4 Season Quests instructs you to accept a Bounty from a Bounty Board within 30 seconds of landing.

To do this, enter a match and leap out of the Battle Bus to the location of your choice from the list above. Once here, use the minimap to identify the exact location of the Bounty Board. Bounty Boards are marked with the crosshair indicator on the minimap.

Approach the Bounty Board and interact with it to bring up the option to activate a Bounty Quest. Confirm the Bounty and you are finished with the challenge! You don't actually need to eliminate your target to complete the quest.

You may only have 30 seconds to accept a Bounty, but remember, the clock doesn't start ticking until your feet hit the ground. Land as close to a Bounty Board as possible and use what you know about how to Tactical Sprint and mantle in Fortnite to complete the rest of the journey.

With good planning, you should be able to successfully accept a Bounty from a Bounty Board within 30 seconds of landing and have some extra time leftover.
