Like all seasons before, Chapter 5 Season 3 of Fortnite introduces a bunch of new weapons while also unvaulting older ones from the previous seasons and events.
The feature allows the game to stay fresh with each new update, especially as a new season rolls in with bigger changes that can leave Fortnite feeling like a new experience. If you want to know what weapons you can expect to be using this time around, look at all the new and unvaulted guns.
All new & unvaulted weapons
New weapons
- Boom Bolt
- Nitro Fists
- The Machinist's Combat Assault Rifle (Mythic)
- Ringemaster's Boom Bolt (Mythic)
- Megalo Don's Nitro Fists (Mythic)
All of the Mythic weapons above can be earned by defeating specific warrior bosses that have been introduced around the map, while the normal versions can be found as ground loot or chest loot.

- Cerberus' Gatekeeper Shotgun
- Combat Shotgun
- Gatekeeper Shotgun
- Hammer Pump Shotgun
- Oscar's Frenzy Auto Shotgun
- Warforged Assault Rifle
- Tactical Assault Rifle

- Thunder Burst SMG
- Harbinger SMG
- Ranger Pistol
- Hand Cannon
- Shockwave Grenade
You may recognise some or all of the unvaulted weapons here, giving you additional ways to deal damage to other players.
All vaulted weapons
Here are the weapons from Chapter 5 Season 2 that will no longer be available:
- Frenzy Auto Shotgun
- Nemesis Assault Rifle
- Thunderbolt of Zeus
- Reaper Sniper Rifle
- Wings of Icarus
- Chains of Hades
- Waterbending
We don't know when players can expect any of the above items to be unvaulted, but it's likely you won't see these for at least another season.
