Brand new in Fortnite v25.10, Cloak Gauntlets are reminiscent of Predator's Cloaking Device. These Fortnite gloves use reflective Kinetic Ore to turn the user virtually invisible. This primer covers where to find and how to use Cloak Gauntlets in Fortnite.
Where to find Cloak Gauntlets in Fortnite
For the most part, finding a pair of Cloak Gauntlets in the game comes down to RNG. Regular Cloak Gauntlets are available as Floor Loot and in Chests. Loot POIs with dense numbers of Floor Loot and Chests, like Brutal Bastion, MEGA City, Rumble Ruins, and Shady Stilts, to increase your chances of finding and securing a pair of Cloak Gauntlets.
There is a single Mythic pair of Cloak Gauntlets available on the Island, but getting your hands on these soup-up gloves won't be easy. To get the Mythic Cloak Gauntlets, you must defeat Wildguard Relik at Rumble Ruins.

How to use Cloak Gauntlets in Fortnite
With Cloak Gauntlets equipped, activate their powers to turn nearly invisible and camouflage with your surroundings. Enemies with sharp eyes will still be able to see the outline of your character, but the average player will have no idea where you're at or where you went.
Regular Cloak Gauntlets work for up to 20 seconds straight, with a 30-second cooldown before you can turn invisible again. The Mythic Cloak Gauntlets, however, can remain active for up to 30 seconds, and the cooldown to use them again is only 20 seconds.
One con of the Cloak Gauntlets is that you cannot do anything while you have a pair equipped but move around and lie in wait. Swapping to any other time in your inventory, whether that be a weapon, heals, or your Pickaxe, will unequip the gauntlets and end their effects.
Considering that you can't actively engage in battle while using the Cloak Gauntlets, the best use for Cloak Gauntlets is setting up ambushes and escaping sticky situations.
Activate the Cloak Gauntlets and hide next to a high-traffic area or an enticing piece of loot. When an unsuspecting player comes by, jump out of camouflage and attack before they can react. And if you ever find yourself in a pickle, you can use the Cloak Gauntlets to disappear in plain sight and flee to safety.
