As you may be aware, Fortnite likes to switch things up constantly. You can’t go a few weeks without something being taken away or a new element being added. While this helps make the game feel fresh, it can also be hard work to keep track of everything that comes and goes.
One of the most recent examples is the Deku Smash, a powerful ability that has previously been introduced with the new season. Unfortunately, its appearance was short-lived, but as previously mentioned, the world of Fortnite is everchanging. With that being said, let’s take a look and see if the Deku Smash is back in Fortnite.

Is The Deku Smash Back In Fortnite?
If you’re an anime fan, you’re most likely aware of the Deku Smash’s existence in My Hero Academia. The most recent season introduced a ton of skins from the popular series, alongside unique abilities such as the Deku Smash.
It works similarly to how the Dragon Ball crossover worked, where players were able to use the Kamehameha. The Deku Smash was quickly embraced by the community but unfortunately was removed after a few short weeks.
The good news is that Epic Games has made the decision to reintroduce the Deku Smash back into Fortnite, meaning that it is currently available for players to pick up and use in battles. If you’re trying to hunt one down, you can find them in All Might Supply Drops, which periodically drop across the map, or from My Hero Academia Vending Machines.
How long the Deku Smash will remain in Fortnite remains to be seen, but as with anything in the game, it’s probably best to get all the use of it now before it’s locked away again.
