Instead of chasing XP as you do in Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival has you seeking out Festival Points and Wristbands. Collecting Wristbands, in particular, is how you unlock limited-time seasonal rewards in Fortnite Festival.
This primer explains how to get Wristbands in Fortnite Festival and all the Wristband Rewards available in Season 3 of the built-in rhythm game on Fortnite.
How to get Wristbands
To get Wristbands, you must complete Main Stage: Wristband Quests. Each new season of Fortnite Festival offers different challenges, and you'll receive a Wristband every time you complete one of the Wristband Quests.
Season 3's Wristband Quests are as straightforward as can be, consisting of completing Milestone Quest Stages, completing Weekly Quests, and earning Festival Points. There are 27 individual challenges altogether, split between the three sets of Quests. That means there are 27 Wristbands up for grabs, but you only need 20 Wristbands to collect all of Season 3's Wristband Rewards!
I've found that focusing on completing Milestone Quest Stages and earning Festival Points is by far the fastest way to rack up Wristbands. There are 80 stages of Milestone Quests to polish off in Season 3 of Fortnite Festival. Meanwhile, there are only ever a few Weekly Quests and everything you do in Fortnite Festival awards Festival Points.
All Wristband Rewards
Acquiring Wristbands unlocks limited-time rewards only available during that particular season of Fortnite Festival. Here's everything you can get in Season 3 of Fortnite Festival:
Reward | Wristbands |
Groove Heart Emoticon | 10 |
Scorch'd Microphone | 15 |
Chainsong Keytar | 20 |
These goodies will no longer be unobtainable when Fortnite Festival Season 3 concludes, so make sure you collect everything before Season 4 kicks off!
Even if you're not super intrigued by the Wristband Rewards, the Wristband Quests are worth completing if you're at all interested in the contents of the Festival Pass. You'll net tons of Festival Points along the way, and you'll likely progress through the Ramp It Up Quests and the Prestige Rewards, too. By the time you're finished with the Wristband Quests, you'll probably have enough Festival Points for the Ultraviolet Outfit Style for the Green Roots Billie Outfit!
If you're like me and love to collect cosmetics, you won't want to miss out on the Wristband Rewards. For a minor time investment, you can get a helping of free, exclusive items every season of Fortnite Festival.
Fortnite Festival has highlighted The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, and now Billie Eilish, but what other artists do you want to see on the Main Stage? Check out our Fortnite homepage at GGRecon for news and guides on all things Fortnite.
