Chapter 3 Season 3's new biome has sparked a phenomenon called Fortnite Geysers. If you aren't afraid to get a little wet, Geysers essentially serve as organic Launch Pads, facilitating Fortnite mobility. This guide will explain what Fortnite Geysers are, where to find them, and how to launch into the air using Geysers.
Where are the Geysers in Fortnite?
Fortnite Geysers are exclusive to the west end of the Island, within the Reality biome. You'll find Geysers surrounding Reality Falls and Greasy Grove. All in all, there are 12 Geysers spread about this area of the Island.
In particular, a Landmark titled Pearl Pass west of Reality Falls and the Reality Tree is home to seven Fortnite Geysers. The Geysers are lined up vertically along a trail between some rocky cliffs.
- Reality Falls is also where you'll find Reality Seeds, the key to growing Fortnite Reality Saplings.
How to launch into the air using Geysers in Fortnite
Not only are Geysers a great form of rapid transportation but there is also a Week 2 Seasonal Quest to launch into the air using Geysers three times.
To activate a Fortnite Geyser, you'll want to stand over the vent opening and wait for it to burst. After a few seconds, a stream of water will erupt into the sky, sending you flying up with it. That'll leave you with a birds-eye view of the Island and a chance to Glider Redeploy away to an area of your choosing.
Use Fortnite Geysers to launch into the air three times and knock out this Week 2 Seasonal Quest. You can use the same Geyser three times or three different Geysers — it doesn't matter.
For your efforts in this Challenge, you'll earn 15k XP toward your Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass and Season Level.
What is a Fortnite Geyser?
Fortnite Geysers function similarly to how they do in the real world. Geysers are hot springs that intermittently boil up with pressure, sending a blast of steam and water high into the sky. Geysers look like open vents or cracks in the ground, almost like a mini volcano.
