Burner Pay Phones are brand-new to Fortnite, so not everyone is familiar with how these devices work. This guide will explain, in detail, everything you need to know to increase your Heat Level by using a Burner Pay Phone.
How do you increase your Heat Level by using a Burner Pay Phone?
Burner Pay Phones are one of many ways to increase your Heat Level in Fortnite. While scoring eliminations and opening Cold Blooded Vaults will raise your Heat Levels, you can skip all that work with Burner Pay Phones. That is if you can afford to use a Burner Pay Phone.
Burner Pay Phones aren't cheap. To use a Burner Pay Phone to increase your Heat Level in Fortnite, you'll need to cough up 500 Gold Bars.
Approach a Burner Pay Phone, and you will have the option to increase your Heat Level for Gold Bars. You can use a Burner Pay Phone more than once, as long as you have enough Gold Bars.
You can go from having no Heat to Max Heat Level instantaneously with Burner Pay Phones, but you'll need a lot of Gold Bars to fund the endeavour. A high Heat Level has its drawbacks, but the movement speed increase, plus the Health and Shield regeneration, make the negatives worth dealing with.
If you're well-off, it's not a bad idea to make a call at a Fortnite Burner Pay Phone and increase your Heat Level.
Where can you find Burner Pay Phones in Fortnite?
A single Burner Pay Phone exists at every Point of Interest on the Island. There are a few other Burner Pay Phones too, at Cold Cavern, Rocky Docks, and Humble Hamlet. You will notice a symbol of a chat bubble with a phone inside of it on your minimap when you're in the vicinity of a Fortnite Burner Pay Phone.
The first time you use a Burner Pay Phone to increase your Heat Level, you will receive 1,000 Infamy and be one step closer to heisting the Going in Loud Cold Blooded Medallion.
