A fresh set of challenges is live in Fortnite, tasking players with collecting Mosaic Tiles - and together, these tiles create a mysterious image called The Mosaic.
You only have so much time to find them all, so keep reading to learn how to collect Mosaic Tiles in the free-to-play battle royale from Epic Games!
How to collect Mosaic Tiles
There are a variety of ways to get Mosaic Tiles in Fortnite. Damaging opponents, opening containers, and hitting weak points all generate Mosaic Tiles. It won't happen every time, but as you perform these actions in-game, they'll occasionally produce Mosaic Tiles.
Mosaic Tiles materialise as tiny turquoise blocks. They don't glow or sparkle when they appear, so they're easy to miss if you're not constantly checking the floor. To pick up a Mosaic Tile, approach and interact with it, or just walk over it!
Generally, the easiest and fastest way to collect Mosaic Tiles is to hit weak points. Damaging opponents requires you to put your life at risk, and there are only so many enemies in a match of Battle Royale. While Chests, Ammo Boxes, Combat Caches, Produce Boxes, and the like all count as containers, they aren't always available, either.
Weak points, however, are everywhere! Almost anything you hit in the world of Fortnite has weak points. Chopping down trees and destroying structures is as simple as it gets and is a low-risk way to spawn dozens of Mosaic Tiles.
Right now, there's a glitch where you can sprint back and forth over Mosaic Tiles on the floor, and it'll count as collecting multiple tiles. If you see a Mosaic Tile on the ground, run over it a couple of times until it disappears, and you might get credit for extra tiles!
