Fortnite Mounted Turrets have been around for the majority of Chapter 3 Season 2, but Week 10 of the Seasonal Quests puts a major focus on this powerful piece of machinery. It can be difficult to locate Mounted Turrets at times, as they are not labeled on the Fortnite map. With that said, let's go over all of the Fortnite Mounted Turret locations and how to use Mounted Turrets to complete Week 10 Seasonal Challenges.

Seven Mounted Turret Locations

Look for regular Mounted Turrets at points of interest (POIs) controlled by The Seven and The Resistance. Most of these fortified POIs house either Seven Anti-Personnel Turrets or Anti-Vehicle Turrets fixed on their perimeters. The locations that feature Mounted Turrets include:

  • Sanctuary
  • The Joneses
  • Condo Canyon
  • Coney Crossroads
  • The Daily Bugle

Battle Bus Mounted Turret Locations

Equipped atop Armoured Battle Buses are Seven Anti-Personnel Turrets and Seven Anti-Vehicle Turrets. These still count as Mounted Turrets; they are just mounted on the Fortnite Battle Bus and not the ground.

You can find Armoured Battle Buses enhanced with Mounted Turrets at the following locations:

  • Sanctuary
  • Synapse Station
  • Rocky Reels
  • Condo Canyon
  • Coney Crossroads
  • The Daily Bugle

Siege Cannon Locations

Siege Cannons are the Imagined Order's version of a Mounted Turret. Look for Fortnite Siege Cannons at:

The Island is home to various types of Fortnite Mounted Turrets.

For starters, The Seven are responsible for designing the Anti-Personnel Turret and the Anti-Vehicle Turret. Their names are self-explanatory: the Anti-Personnel Turret is designed for taking out enemy players while the Anti-Vehicle Turret specializes in destroying vehicles. And believe it or not, Siege Cannons also count as Mounted Turrets.

This Week 10 Seasonal Quest tasks players with dealing 1,200 damage to vehicles while seated on a Mounted Turret. There are a couple of ways to do this efficiently:

  • Find a random vehicle and park it in front of a Seven Turret or a Siege Cannon. Then, jump on the Mounted Turret and fire away. Repeat as necessary until you deal a total of 1,200 damage.

  • Commandeer an Armoured Battle Bus and drive around until you stumble upon an abandoned vehicle. Switch seats to one of the Mounted Turrets on top and unload on the defenseless automobile.

Since the Quest does not specify that the vehicle needs to be occupied by enemies, it's way easier to use empty vehicles as targets for this Challenge. Spending hours chasing down enemy players in vehicles will be much more difficult and take up a lot more of your time.

You'll need to get your hands on a Repair Torch before you can get started on this Week 10 Seasonal Quest. Repair Torches are most often found inside Fortnite Gas Stations and garages.

Once a Repair Torch is secured, visit one of the many locations where Mounted Turrets are present. Hit a Mounted Turret with your Pickaxe or shoot at it a bit to weaken it. Finally, use the Repair Torch to fix the Mounted Turret. You'll need to repair 300 damage to satisfy the Quest.

That's about all there is to know about Fortnite Mounted Turrets. Complete the Seasonal Quests revolving around Mounted Turrets to earn a huge chunk of XP toward your Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass. With Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 right around the corner, there's not much time left to unlock the current season's Fortnite Super Styles.
