Fortnite Week 6 quests have finally gone live, and one of them requires you to purchase the Patch Up service. However, the game doesn’t mention what the Patch Up service is, which is why many players are having a hard time completing this weekly challenge.

With that said, here’s a quick Fortnite guide to help you purchase the Patch Up Service and earn 10,000 XP for your battle pass.

Where to purchase Patch Up service in Fortnite

Fortnite map

The best way to purchase the Patch Up service is by interacting with certain NPCs on Fortnite island. As of writing this article, two NPCs, Peely and Korra, are selling this item in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2.

If you weren’t aware of these NPC locations, Peely can be found south of the Restored Reels right in the centre of the map. On the other hand, Korra is the Waterbending expert who roams around in her Elemental Shrine located far east of the Fortnite island.

I’ve also marked the exact locations in the above image for your convenience. Once you locate these NPCs, interact with them and spend 100 gold bars to purchase the Patch Up service.

Alternatively, you can purchase this service from any Mending machine. However, it seems like many players are unable to buy it due to a weird bug, which is why I’d recommend you avoid this method.

What does Patch Up service do in Fortnite

As the name suggests, the Patch Up service instantly restores all your lost health. However, it’s worth noting that it doesn’t recharge your shield. Therefore, to complete this weekly challenge, you must make sure that you don’t have a full health bar. Otherwise, you won’t be able to purchase the Patch Up service.

After completing the primary objective, the quest will be marked as completed, and you’ll receive 10,000 XP for your efforts.
