Fortnite is back on the iPhone for some people, though you'll need the Epic Games Store on your device to be able to play.

I'll cover the full process of downloading both EGS and then Fortnite, so you know every step necessary.

Warning

It's worth noting that this is only available for people residing in the European Union currently, though it could open to other countries and continents soon. You also need iOS version 17.6 or above.

Before you can get Fortnite itself, you need the marketplace that it's available on:

  • Head to Safari or the browser you use on your phone
  • Type "epic.download" and confirm
  • You'll be able to click a button that says 'Install on iOS'
  • This will pop up with a warning that you cannot download apps from Epic Games. Just hit 'OK'
  • Leave the window and go to the 'Settings' app
  • Select the banner near the top that says 'Allow Apps From "Epic Games Inc."'
  • Press 'Allow'
  • Navigate back to the browser, and you can click 'Install' at the bottom of the screen
