Where can you find Pumpkin Launchers in Fortnite?

Fortnite’s Halloween event has returned for 2023, bringing the Pumpkin Launcher back to the weapon’s loot pool. If you don’t know, the Pumpkin Launcher is a special variant of the Rocket Launcher, which is only available during the Fortnitemares event.
As the name suggests, the weapon shoots a large pumpkin, dealing massive to the structures or players upon impact. In fact, Fortnite also requires you to use Pumpkin Launcher if you want to grab shiny rewards during the Fortnitemares event. As such, here’s a comprehensive guide to finding Pumpkin Launcher in the game.

Where can you loot Pumpkin Launchers?
The Pumpkin Launcher can be obtained from the ground loot, by opening regular and rare chests, Holo-Chests, and flying drones. Although the weapon doesn’t have a fixed spawn location, finding Pumpkin Launcher is not a difficult task, especially if you land at hot drop POIs like Mega City, Eclipsed Estate, Slappy Shores, or Rumble Ruins.
Once you land at one of these POIs, you just need to keep looking for a Pumpkin Launcher on the ground or inside the chests until you find one. You may also find this weapon from some NPCs on the island, but we haven’t found any character yet having Pumpkin Launcher in stock.
All Pumpkin Launcher rarities and stats
The Pumpkin Launcher has five rarities in Fortnite: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The higher the rarity, the more damage and DPS (damage per second) it deals, and the faster it reloads.
As you may expect, the weapon uses Rocket Ammo, which is scarce and can only be found in chests, supply drops, or llamas. Before using it, it’s worth noting that the Pumpkin Launcher has a fire rate of 0.75, which means it can shoot one pumpkin every 1.33 seconds. It also has a magazine size of 1, meaning you must reload it after every shot.
Please note: Pumpkin Launcher cannot achieve a critical hit, which means it does not deal extra damage on headshots or weak points.
