The Fortnite Lost and Mound (Sand) secret Klombo Quest is the newest addition to the secret Klombo Quest series. This time around, Fortnite players must investigate the sudden appearance of some Klombo-sized sand mounds out in the desert. This guide will detail how to complete the Fortnite Lost and Mound secret Klombo Quest and where to find Klombo-sized sand mounds.

Scattered around the Desert Biome near Synapse Station and Chonker's Speedway are three Klombo-sized sand mounds. The Fortnite desert consists of billowing sand dunes — making it difficult to spot the difference between a standard sand dune and a Klombo-sized sand mound. With that said, this secret Quest becomes a whole lot easier if you know where to look.
A Klombo hides beneath the surface under a Klombo-sized sand mound north-west of Synapse Station. The Klombo-sized sand mound is near the river mouth — where the river meets the ocean.
Look for another Klombo-sized sand mound north-east of Synapse Station. The Klombo-sized sand mound is just south of the lake that makes up the Desolate Delta Landmark.
The last Klombo-sized sand mound shrouded by the desert is north-west of Chonker's Speedway. The sand mound is near a cliff edge with a Fortnite Ascender.
Secret Klombo Quests are special Fortnite Quests that only show up in the Quest Log after you uncover them. These surprise Challenges are typically spread via word of mouth.
This particular secret Klombo Quest tasks us with investigating suspicious sand mounds in search of Fortnite Klombos.
If you didn't hear about it from a friend or look it up online, you would have no idea that this secret Klombo Quest existed unless you accidentally stumbled upon one of the Klombo-sized sand mounds in the Desert Biome. Approach any of the three Klombo-sized sand mounds out in the desert to activate this secret Quest.
To complete the Challenge in full, you must visit and examine all of the Klombo-sized sand mounds.
Completing the Fortnite Lost and Mound (Sand) secret Klombo Quest will generate 10k XP toward your Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass and Season Level.
