Players may be puzzled by a new challenge in Fortnite that requires them to 'Time Travel into the future slowly' - but what exactly does that mean?

Fortnite is still in the middle of its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle crossover event, which sees the famous group added as skins for players to wear in the game. Along with this comes other new features like various TMNT-themed challenges, and collectable Ooze which can be used for cosmetics.

If you want to ensure you make the most of this event, make sure you learn how to complete the Time Travel challenge.

While it's a very oddly worded challenge, time travelling into the future slowly just means playing the game as normal for a total of 300 seconds. That's it, just load into a game, play for five minutes, and the challenge will be finished.

If you die before the 300 seconds are up, make sure you don't leave the game, as you can still complete the challenge even while spectating. That said, it's up to you if you'd prefer to just go again instead of waiting around.

After completion of the 'Time Travel into the future slowly' challenge, you'll receive 300 Ooze as a reward, and you can move onto some of the other challenges.
