The latest Fortnite update 27.10 has arrived, bringing planes and cannons back to the Island as well as the return of the Frosty Flights location from the OG map.

Fortnite update 27.10 has arrived, so we've got the patch notes with details of all the new map locations and weapon pool changes you can expect when you jump back onto the Island.
The return of the old Fortnite map has been a huge success, but Epic Games still has some more tricks up its sleeve. The latest update is bringing content from Chapter 1: Season 7 and Season 8 into the game.

Here's everything you can expect once downtime ends and the new update goes live in Fortnite:
More weapons have been unvaulted
With this update, you'll be able to pick up the Flint-Knock Pistol, Minigun, and Quad Launcher from the regular loot pool. These three weapons are powerful additions to any loadout, so keep an eye out for them.
The Poison Dart Trap, Itemized Glider Redeploy, and Buried Treasure items will also return to the game to give you the extra edge - although the Poison Dart Trap won't be available in Zero Build mode.
Planes and Cannons are back!
Love them or hate them, planes have returned to the Island. With the X-4 Stormwing, you'll be able to zip around the OG map and attack your opponents from the skies above, giving you a huge advantage.
Do you prefer being a little closer to the ground, but still want some airtime? Then look towards the Pirate Cannon, which you can use to launch your teammates (or yourself!) across the Island in no time at all.
A snow biome has appeared on the map
Is it getting cold in here, or is it just us? With the 27.10 update, the snow biome from Fortnite Chapter 1: Season 7 has returned to the map, along with a POI that's defrosted after years in the vault: Frosty Flights!
This is the perfect place to visit if you're looking for an X-4 Stormwing plane, but expect it to be a very busy location. That's not all, though, as pirate camps will also begin appearing around the Island.
Lewis Hamilton collaboration
It's been confirmed that Lewis Hamilton is the next Icon Series skin that you'll be available to purchase from the in-game shop. His outfits and cosmetics will be available from November 17, 2023, at 7PM ET.
We've also seen rumours of another heroic crossover happening in the game very soon, but you'll just have to wait and see what that is...
Time Breaker bonus rewards are now available
If you've got the OG Battle Pass, you'll now be able to unlock the final bonus rewards. These are known as 'Time Breaker' variants that add a golden shine to the Lil' Split, Renegade Lynx, and Omegarok skins.
Before you can unlock them, though, you'll need to claim every reward in the standard Battle Pass as well as the first page of bonus rewards, which could take you quite a while. Our guide to levelling up fast could help.
