Fortnite update 29.20 has arrived, bringing a major Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration to the game as well as a new Neon Rush season for Rocket Racing!
We're now well into Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 2, but things aren't slowing down anytime soon. Fans of Avatar will be glad to see a bunch of skins added to the game as well as three new Mythic techniques.
Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover
Korra has already appeared in the Battle Pass, but this Fortnite season is about to get a whole lot bendier with the arrival of Aang, Toph, Zuku, and Katara from the beloved animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender.
There will be an Event Pass that you can purchase which features Aang and Avatar State Aang skins, while the other characters are available to purchase from the shop right now!
New Mythics to add to your loadout
It's not just skins being added with the Avatar collaboration, as there will soon be three new Mythics to try out: Firebending to shoot fire blasts, Airbending to surf around the Island, and Earthbending to spawn walls of rock.
These three Mythics join the Waterbending technique which was already available in the game. You'll be able to get these Mythic weapons from golden Avatar Chests across the Island, or as floor loot if you're lucky.
Get ready for a Neon Rush in Rocket Racing
A new season of Rocket Racing has begun, and the theme is Neon Rush! As well as a new set of Neon Rush Kickoff Quests, there are five new tracks to enjoy: Jackrabbit, Tri-City, Conduit, Delirium, and Slap Happy.
This update features the launch of creator-made tracks. You can find these by using island codes or browsing through the selections from the lobby. There are also loads of bug fixes that you can read about here.
More LEGO skin variants
As with most updates these days, several skins have been granted LEGO styles which means they can be used in the popular LEGO Fortnite mode. You can see skins these in the tweet below.
Loads of new quests to complete
Shortly after this update goes live, you'll notice that Aphrodite's Snapshot Quests are waiting for you, as well as a new set of weekly quests and even a new season of Rocket Racing challenges to complete.
