Of course, Weapon-O-Matics don't dispense weapons for free. To purchase a weapon from a Vending Machine in Fortnite, you must cough up some Gold Bars. You can cop uncommon weapons for 50 Gold Bars, but Rare weapons will cost 100 Gold Bars.

To complete the Week 6 Quest to purchase a weapon from a Vending Machine, you must buy ten weapons total. You can buy ten weapons in the same match or spread the shopping spree across matches. 

It's worth noting that Weapon-O-Matic Vending Machines typically only stock a limited number of weapons. For example, a Weapon-O-Matic with Thermal DMRs for sale might only carry four Uncommon Thermal DMRs and four Rare Thermal DMRs. 

So, you'll need to visit multiple Weapon-O-Matic Vending Machines to complete this quest and shop for ten weapons altogether. The cheapest way to purchase ten weapons is to buy up all the Uncommon weapons for 50 Gold Bars a pop. This will run you 500 Gold Bars.
