Winterburg and Sgt. Winter are both fresh additions to Fortnite courtesy of Winterfest 2023. While Sgt. Winter visits every year, Winterburg is a festive Landmark making its debut in Fortnite for the first time.

With Winterfest 2023 in full swing, you'll need to know where to find Winterburg and Sgt. Winter if you want to complete all of the game's seasonal challenges!

Fittingly named Winterburg, this location is a Winterfest-exclusive landmark toward the top-centre of the Island, north-west of Classy Courts. Since it isn't a Point of Interest, it isn't labelled on the in-game map.

To get to Winterburg, travel north and look for the massive iceberg isolated in the ocean at the top of the Island. You'll need to land on it from the bus, take a zipline, or swim out and climb atop it. The limited-time landmark features several cottages, a frozen lake, and all kinds of festive decorations to celebrate the winter holiday!

This year, you won't find Sgt. Winter cruising around the Island on The Holiday Big Rig. Instead, Fortnite's Santa Claus spends his time wandering at Winterburg. Head to Winterburg, and you're sure to run into him.

When you first encounter Sgt. Winter, he'll laugh and toss you a Present. He'll emote with you, too!

While you can attack the beefed-up Saint Nicholas, it's not really worth it. All you get for defeating Sgt. Winter is a Rare Striker AR and a Lump of Coal.

That's all there is to finding Winterburg and Sgt. Winter in Fortnite. Pay a visit to them before they're gone to complete a few Winterfest 2023 Quests, earn tons of XP, and progress toward the Snowglobe Smasher Pickaxe!
