Looking ahead at the Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z (DBZ) collaboration, this crossover between two powerhouse franchises may be one of the biggest ever in Fortnite. This collaboration will bring Dragon Ball Z-themed Skins and cosmetics, Quests, Mythic items, and points of interest to Fortnite. There's even more to come, but for now, let's take a look at everything we know so far about the Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z crossover.

Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z: Release Date

According to prominent Fortnite leakers, the Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z crossover is scheduled to begin sometime in late July / early August. The in-game collaboration is designed as a promo for the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie releasing August 19, 2022, so this speculated range of a release date adds up.

Based on the amount of content included in this collaboration, we can expect the Fortnite X DBZ event to go on for about two months.

Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z: Skins And Cosmetics

The Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z collaboration features four DBZ Fortnite Outfits and a variety of accessories. The confirmed Dragon Ball Z characters getting a Fortnite Skin include Goku, Vegeta, and Beerus. The fourth Outfit is still a mystery, but popular candidates include: Bulma, Chi-Chi, Android 18, Frieza, Gohan, and Piccolo. The Dragon Ball Z Saiyan Skins will feature multiple Selectable Styles, as well as Built-In Emotes that showcase the character transforming into their Super Saiyan form.

As far as accessories go, it's confirmed that the Attack Ball exists as a Glider. Outside of that, not much is official yet. However, we can make an educated guess that other iconic Dragon Ball Z elements like the Flying Nimbus, Power Pole, Dragon Ball, and Fusion Dance will exist as a Glider, Pickaxe, Back Bling, and Emote, respectively.

Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z: Quests

The Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z crossover will feature a series of Stamina Quests set to occur over the course of seven weeks. A new batch of Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z Challenges will release each week under the following categories:

  • Warmup
  • Strength Training
  • Agility Training
  • Sparring Training
  • Endurance Training
  • Focus Training
  • Recovery

While details surrounding these Dragon Ball Z Stamina Quests are slim, it's all but certain that they'll reward XP and other goodies upon completion.

Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z: Mythic Kamehameha Item

The Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z collaboration may spark the return of Mythic items in Fortnite. According to Fortnite leaker MidaRado, players will be able to wield the signature Kamehameha energy attack as a Mythic item when the Fortnite X DBZ crossover goes live. There's no telling yet if the Kamehameha will exist on its own or if we'll get a limited-time mode with all sorts of Dragon Ball Z Mythic abilities.

Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z: Point Of Interest

In the gulf east of Sanctuary is a tiny island with a single house stationed on it. Apparently, this area will be transformed into a Kame House lookalike, complete with Master Roshi's signature lawn chair, table, and umbrella.

That's everything we know so far about the Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z collaboration. Based on what's out there, this crossover is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. We'll update this guide as more information on the Fortnite X Dragon Ball Z collaboration becomes available.
