FragPunk Closed Beta: Start date & how to access
Steam and Xbox Series X|S can sign up for the FragPunk Closed Beta for when it begins in October.
FragPunk is an upcoming multiplayer hero shooter for both PC and Xbox, with a unique card system that mutates each round of the game with different abilities and effects.
A Closed Beta is set to take part very soon, so you may want to give it a go yourself and get involved.
Closed Beta start date
The Closed Beta for FragPunk begins on October 10 for both PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X|S players. Here are the start times:

The beta runs for 11 days in total, finishing on October 21, two hours later than the start time.
How to access the Closed Beta
There is a slightly different process for accessing the Closed Beta depending on your platform.
Steam
For PC users on Steam, you'll need to navigate to the FragPunk store page. You'll find a button that says 'Request Access' below 'Join the FragPunk Playtest'.
Clicking it will confirm you as part of the pool for the participants, and you'll receive an email if you are successful. The game will also become available in your library if you're successful.
Xbox
You need to be part of the Xbox Insider Program to join the beta on console. You can access this in an app directly from the console itself.
Within the app, locate 'Previews' and select 'FragPunk'. From you here you can choose to 'Join' and your interest will be registered. You'll be notified from the app if you are successful.
