Genshin Impact Cor Lapis is a material used in a variety of crafting recipes including Yellow Dye. How To Get Cor Lapis In Genshin Impact

Like Iron Ore, Cor Lapis resembles an ore geode and can be found at the base of cliffs in Liyue, or in caves and mines in this region. Identifiable for its bright yellow colouring, you’ll need to strike the ore with a blunt weapon or ability to collect the Cor Lapis

Cor Lapis may also be awarded to the Traveler upon completing certain quests including the ‘Diamond in the Rough’ commission quest that occurs in Liyue Harbour and requests you to distinguish a genuine stone from a set of three.

Keqing will also send you ten Cor Lapis ores on her birthday (November 20), with the promise to show you around the Liyue Harbour.

Where To Find Genshin Impact Cor Lapis Locations

As mentioned, Cor Lapis in Genshin Impact is a mineral found at the base of cliffs or in caves and mines in Liyue. The Mt. Hulao and Cuijue Slope are noteworthy hotspots for Cor Lapis spawns.

NPC Merchant Changshun, will also stock five Cor Lapis at once in her store at the Liyue Harbour. They will cost you 1,500 Mora each, and her stock resets every three days as is standard with most merchants in Teyvat.

Genshin Impact Cor Lapis Crafting Recipes

Cor Lapis is a contributing ingredient to many crafting recipes, one of which is Yellow Dye, needed to craft certain furnishings for the player’s realm layouts in the Serenitea Pot. The standard Berry that can be found throughout the Mondstadt and Liyue area can also be used to create Yellow Dye, if you have a surplus of those. For a chance to customise your own base, players will unlock the Serenitea Pot after completing the ‘Teapot to Call Home’ quest in act three of the game and after achieving Adventurer Rank 28. Other crafting recipes that require Cor Lapis are:

Dustproof Potion

This potion will increase the resistance of Geo Talents for all party members by 25% for 300 seconds.

Unmoving Essential Oil

This potion will increase the damage of all party member’s Geo Talents by 25% for 300 seconds.

Special Unmoving Essential Oil 

A special quest item the Traveler must make to advance the ‘Heavenly Stone's Debris’ world quest in the Chasm: Underground Mines area of Liyue. This potion is a mixture of highly unstable Geo energy, that is given to Clitopho to load the cannons with and unlocks more of the Underground Mines map in doing so.

Geoculus Resonance Stone

This is classified as a gadget that will be consumed upon use. This stone has the power to highlight nearby Geoculus, needed to level-up the worship statues of the area. When a Geoculus is sensed in the area around you, the Geoculus Resonance Stone will highlight the area in a blue light and summon an arrow to indicate the direction you must travel.

Geo Treasure Compass

This gadget detects unopened chests near the player but can only be used in Liyue. The compass has a 30 second cooldown rate after detecting a chest, or five seconds if it has been used but hasn’t detected a chest nearby.  This is a particularly useful gadget as it can detect chests even if they are hidden by brambles or hidden behind rock piles. It cannot be used in conjunction with puzzle chests, however.

Which Characters Need Cor Lapis In Genshin Impact?

After reaching the level cap of a character, players will have the ability to unlock their ascension levels. These higher levels require more specialised materials to upgrade with. These are the characters that use Cor Lapis as an ascension material:
