Genshin Impact Dandelion Seeds: Location
As stated, Dandelion Seeds are grown throughout the Mondstadt region. Noticeable for they are fluffy light bluebells that flow in the breeze, a selection of them grow on the banks outside the city gates of Mondstadt and will regrow every 48 hours, making it a prime spot for harvesting.
The NPC Sage will be nearby, to tell you about the legend of the Dandelion Sea, of which there is a collectible book that outlines the legend, available from Flora the flower merchant in Mondstadt. Dandelion Flowers will also populate the cliffs of the surrounding areas, so look out for blue and yellow flowers in the area.
The map above outlines the Dandelion Seeds that are available near Mondstadt. The only NPC merchant that stocks Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact is Karpillia, located in the Sailing Breeze Shop on Ritou Island, Inazuma. This is a costly way of accruing them, however, as he only sells five at a time with a price of 60,000 Mora each. As with the harvestable Dandelion Seeds found throughout the wilds of Teyvat, his shop will reset every 48 hours.
Genshin Impact Dandelion Seeds: How To Get
Most flowers in the game simply require you to step towards them and interact (on PCs this is the F key) to harvest the item. This isn’t the case for Dandelion Seeds, however, and you may find yourself frustratingly walking around fields of dandelions and not knowing how to collect them. Dandelions are special through their affinity with the Anemo element and as such, you will have to perform an Anemo ability on the flower first, and then interact with the remains of the plant to collect the Dandelion Seeds.

Genshin Impact Dandelion Seeds: Uses
Along with Alchemy and Ascension, Dandelion Seeds can also be included in certain quests, which will require you to gather a selected amount for an NPC.
Dandelion Seeds As An Alchemy Material
Dandelion Seeds are a key material for these Alchemy recipes:
Gushing Essential Oil – A potion that will increase the damage output of Anemo abilities. Applies to all party members with Anemo affinity.
Wind Barrier Potion – A potion that increases the resistance of Anemo abilities, this applies to all party members and offers an increase in resistance by 25% for 300 seconds.
Anemoculus Resonance Stone – this is a gadget that can be used to help find an Anemoculus near you. It will be consumed once an Anemoculus is found, (these are spectral-looking orbs scattered around Mondstadt that can be traded into statues for rewards).
Dandelion Seeds As An Ascension Material
Once a character’s Talents have been upgraded to level 20 and reached the level cap, the next levels are called Ascension levels and require rarer materials to achieve. The following characters require Dandelion Seeds as one of their Ascension materials: Jean and Eula.
