Specters are elemental enemies in Genshin Impact that drop Ascension materials when defeated. Genshin Impact Specters yield three types of ascension materials when defeated, these are Spectral Husks, Spectral Hearts, and Spectral Nucleus.

Where are the Specters in Genshin Impact?

Specters can be found on Seirai Island and Watatsumi Island in Inazuma. They tend to gather in small groups around the shores of the islands.

There are six types of Specters, correlating to a different element type. Like slimes, Specters cannot be harmed by elemental abilities they share an affinity with. Specters are found throughout Inazuma and are worth farming for the Ascension materials they drop.

Upon death, the Specter will enlarge and explode in an AOE which deals elemental damage. This damage increases if they are in a ‘Rage’ state at the same time. ‘Rage’ is increased with every melee attack dealt to the Specter and increases their damage output over time.

How To Get Spectral Nucleus, Hearts, and Husks

Alchemy Table in Genshin Impact

You can get the following materials from different levels of Specters:

  • Level 40 or below yield Spectral Husks
  • Levels 40-60 yield Spectral Hearts and Husks
  • Level 60+ yields Spectral Nucleus, Hearts, and Husks.

Similar to how Talent Materials work, you can also convert materials on an Alchemy Table for higher rarity items. For example, three Husks make one Heart, and three Hearts make one Nucleus.
