How To Break The Sword Cemetery Seal In Genshin Impact
The Sword Cemetery seal in Genshin Impact is also known as the tri-seal, which guards a Luxurious Chest in Mondstadt. To find out how to break the tri-seal and gain access to the chest within, read on.
You may come across the Sword Cemetery Seal in Genshin Impact during your traversal across Teyvat. Otherwise known as the ‘tri-seal’, this area in Genshin Impact is a riverbank, housing a chest that is surrounded by swords and three individual energy barriers. You’ll have to break all three of these barriers to unlock the chest within. To learn how to break the tri-seal, where to find the tri-seal and what rewards you’ll get for doing so, read on.

Genshin Impact Sword Cemetery: Location
The Sword Cemetery can be located in the midst of Dadaupa Gorge, in Mondstadt. Upon approaching the NPC, Dr. Livingstone will reveal that she has been trying to break the seals with no luck. She provides information that there are three nearby Hilichurl camps and suspects that each camp is linked to a seal. From this information, we can gauge that the way to break the tri-seal lies in disbanding each of the Hilichurl camps.
Each camp houses a pedestal with a different elemental symbol etched on them, you’ll need a Pyro, Cryo and Electro character to interact with the pedestals and break each seal. This shouldn’t be a problem if you’ve progressed the main quests far enough to acquire Amber, Kaeya, and Lisa in your party.

Genshin Impact Sword Cemetery: How To Break The Tri-Seal
First Hilichurl Camp
The first Hilichurl camp will be directly northwest of the Dadaupa Gorge and will require an Electro character to interact with the pillar there. You’ll have to defeat the Hilichurls camped here first, to activate the pillar and break this seal.
Second Hilichurl Camp
Travel directly north from the Sword Cemetery to the Hilichurl camp that houses the Cryo pedestal. Complete the time challenge, by defeating all the enemies under the time limit and then activate the pillar with a Cryo ability.
Third Hilichurl Camp
This last camp is located southeast of the Sword Cemetery and will require a Pyro ability to be casted on the pedestal here. Defeat the enemies to proceed and a cutscene will ensue, showing the tri-seal being lifted from the site.
