Cheats aren't as ubiquitous in modern video games anymore, but some players may still want to make use of them in God of War Ragnarok. But are there any to actually use?

To but it bluntly, no. God of War Ragnarok doesn't feature any official way to cheat and tailor the experience to your own liking.
Unfortunately, video game cheats as we once knew them simply don't happen anymore. Though they were once common in the industry, modern games have moved away from the whole concept of cheats.
These days, the closest thing you might find to a cheat is a microtransaction that lets you pay for in-game currency or items. Though, Ragnarok has none of these either.
The only saving grace here is the PC version. While it also won't feature any cheats officially, it won't be difficult to mod the game or install a cheat engine that has the capacity to alter nearly everything in the game, from invulnerability to getting the best gear right away.
If you do this, I'd recommend at least playing the game through properly first to get the full, intended experience. Then you can go wild with whatever you want.
