How to get the taser in GTA Online
GTA Online is a wonderful game for those who like to make other people miserable, and there are few better ways to do that then with a taser.
GTA Online has a wide arsenal of available weapons, but not all weapons are easily available. The taser, or the Stun Gun as the game calls it, is only available if you or someone you know have access to a particular armoury. Here's our rundown to help you get the weapon in the game.
Where can you get the taser?
Currently, there is only one place you can go to purchase a taser: an agency armoury. Purchasing an agency HQ is not cheap at all, as it will cost you upwards of two million dollars. Further, you need to get the armoury upgrade for your HQ, which will set you back an additional $720,000.
Thankfully, there is a way around this, but someone will have to foot the bill. You do not need to own your own agency HQ, but you do need access to one. So, if you have a friend or can get in contact with someone who has their own agency, you can visit and use their armoury.
Regardless of how you do it, once you get into the agency HQ, head up to the armoury and speak to the requisitions officer. Go to the pistols menu and near the bottom, you will see the Stun Gun available for around $320,000.
Using the taser
The taser is a pistol-type weapon, so it is not a melee-style taser. You can find it among the pistols in your inventory. It fires a projectile that stuns whoever it hits. It does not have conventional ammo, instead, it recharges between shots. If you fire, you will have to wait a certain amount of time before you can fire again.
Anyone hit by the taser will drop and convulse for a short period of time. Don't expect to do much in the way of damage with it, but it can be paired with another weapon to lock down a target and then finish them off.
