You may have seen the Gun Screen in MW2 and are wondering what exactly they are, along with how they work. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has even more customisation options than ever for guns and loadouts, allowing you to really set your kit apart from the rest of the playerbase. With the brand-new battle pass that just dropped this is even easier due to the 100+ rewards you can earn. So, if you want to know what the Gun Screens in MW2 are, we've got you covered.

Gun Screen MW2: What Are They?

Gun Screens in Modern Warfare 2 are a new type of cosmetic that you can equip to weapons in the gun customisation menu. They are a little digital screen which is attached to the side of your weapon that play small animations.

Some of these Gun Screens feature trackers for kills, much like the stat trak weapons in CS:GO, meaning every kill you earn with the weapon will be displayed on the little screen. This is a nice extra feature for those wanting to track their overall progress with a weapon and see how well they perform with it. Others display information like the current date and time.

Currently, it looks like there are five total Gun Screens in the game which can be equipped. These are called:

  • Hell of a Timepiece
  • Time Is Money
  • Listless
  • Endless Black
  • Chronophobia

We don't have an exact idea how to get a hold of these customisation items yet, but it's likely they are part of the MW2 Season 1 battle pass, or that they can be purchased in the shop. We'll make sure to update this once we have a concrete idea of how to get them.

That's all for our explanation of the Gun Screens in MW2, and now you know about the new cosmetic item for your weapons.

We also cover the MW2 calling card glitch, which lets you get all the cards for free.
