After six years, we're edging ever closer to the Halo Infinite campaign release time, and at the time of writing there are mere hours to go until players can finally jump back into the shoes of Masterchief. The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta surprise launched back on November 15, so players have had some time to get to grips with the general gameplay, but the single player of this entry differs wildly from past titles. Halo Infinite Campaign Release Time: When Is Halo Infinite Out?
Halo Infinite's campaign is set to release today (Wednesday, December 8), and it will be releasing simultaneously in all regions on the PC and Xbox. The exact times are listed below and shown in an official Microsoft release map:
- UK: 6PM (GMT)
- Europe: 7PM (CEST)
- East Coast US: 1PM (EST)
- West Coast US: 10am (PST)

Halo Infinite Campaign Release Time: Preload Availability And Download Size
The preloading for Halo Infinite isn't fully straight forward, as it's not available on all platforms. PC users can preload the campaign on the official Xbox app whether they've purchased it or have Game Pass. If you search for the game, there will be two listings on the store. One for the campaign and the multiplayer, with the former handily titled Halo Infinite (Campaign).
Unfortunately, only PC Xbox app users can currently preload the title, so Steam and Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S users are out of luck. It's possible that preload could become available before launch, but with only several hours to go, it seems unlikely.
The Halo Infinite download size currently stands at 62.78 GB across all platforms, which is relatively hefty and sucks for users that are unable to preload the title. With the multiplayer size added in - which currently stands at 25.9 GB - the total size of Halo Infinite will stand at over 86 GB.
