When does Halo Infinite Season 5 start?
The start date for Halo Infinite season 5 kicks off on October 17th, 2023.
When it launches, players can expect to be able to play all the new maps, unlock new customisation items, and try the new Extraction mode. We've got all the details about these new features below!
All gameplay details & maps for Halo Infinite Season 5
The main new mode in Halo Infinite season 5 is called Extraction. This is a reimagined version of the Halo 4 mode of the same name.
We're also getting two new maps, both of which can be played in Arena modes: Forbidden, which is inspired by the stone ruins of Delta Halo, and Prism, a mine with exploding crystals that can damage players (similar to the Needler's supercombine effect).
The Season's name of 'Reckoning' refers to the House of Reckoning, which will be playable when the new mode Firefight King of the Hill arrives mid-season. This is a PvE mode where players must capture five zones while fighting the Banished.
Finally, there'll be all kinds of new customisation for players to unlock, including flood-infected armour for your Spartan. You'll be able to unlock new items in the Season 5 battle pass, which has 20 free levels and 50 levels in total. And if you're dedicated enough to hit max rank - or 'Hero' rank - you'll now unlock Master Chief's armour as a reward too!
