Halo Infinite Vehicles List
Discover the full list of Halo Infinite vehicles, including the new Halo Infinite vehicle customisation and gameplay systems.
Halo Infinite vehicles have received a major overhaul ahead of the heavily anticipated new title. With the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta in full swing, we've had the chance to explore all the new vehicles, get to grips with their new spawn patterns and mechanics, while even dabbling with some customisation. In Big Team Battle, we can confirm the vehicles are more important than ever, and even in the smaller modes, good utilisation of a vehicle can make all the difference. Below, you can find the entire Halo Infinite vehicles list, along with details on the new vehicle gameplay systems.
Halo Infinite Vehicles List
The below list consists of all the current Halo Infinite vehicles. While Halo Infinite may feature additional vehicles post-launch, these are the only ones available to use in-game now.
The list of all confirmed Halo Infinite vehicles so far includes:
- Banshee
- Chopper
- Ghost
- Gungoose
- Mongoose
- Razorback
- Warthog
- Rocket Warthog
- Scorpion
- Wasp
- Wraith
The confirmed Halo Infinite vehicles list consists almost entirely of returning fan-favourite vehicles. However, the Razorback is new to Halo Infinite. It's essentially a Warthog without a gunner seat, that differentiates itself with its heavy armour and additional passenger space.
What makes the Razorback really special is the storage compartment on the rear bumper that can carry numerous types of items. In the Halo Infinite multiplayer overview trailer, a Razorback is seen transporting a Gravity Hammer. However, the Razorback can hold more than just power weapons. Detached turrets, fusion coils, and game objectives like the flag can also be slotted into this compartment.
Halo Infinite Vehicles: Vehicle Customisation
Like the best Halo Infinite weapons, Halo Infinite vehicles are be customisable. Halo Infinite puts a heavy focus on player customisation. Players can unlock all sorts of different customisation options through the various Halo Infinite Battle Passes. While players won’t be able to equip their Halo Infinite vehicles with perks or attachments, there will be dozens of different vehicle skins and emblems.
Halo Infinite Vehicles: New Ways To Get Vehicles
Halo Infinite introduces a new way for vehicles to appear in Halo Infinite multiplayer matches, specifically in Big Team Battle. Throughout Halo’s history, vehicles have spawned in at set points around the map, similar to weapons. In Halo Infinite, this is still the case, but vehicles will periodically be dropped in by a Pelican to specific points on the map.
Halo Infinite players will get a notification that a vehicle drop is about to occur in a designated drop zone. This gives both teams time to head to the drop zone and secure the vehicle drop. The hope is that this new vehicle drop system adds an extra layer of strategy and excitement to Big Team Battle matches.
Halo Infinite Vehicles: Dynamic Damage System And Doomsday Mechanic
Halo Infinite’s vehicles feature a brand-new dynamic damage system. In prior Halo games, vehicles simply took damage as a whole. Regardless of where the vehicle was hit, the damage dealt would be all the same.
In Halo Infinite, the handling of a vehicle is impacted based on where it’s hit. For example, players can blow tires off of enemy vehicles or destroy the cannon on a Wraith. Overall, the dynamic damage system in Halo Infinite is a much more realistic way to handle the vehicular warfare aspect of Halo.
The doomsday mechanic is another new feature of Halo Infinite vehicles. Instead of exploding right away at a certain damage threshold like in previous Halo titles, Halo Infinite vehicles enter into a doomed state. In this doomed state, vehicles are a ticking time bomb. Players have a few moments to decide their next move before the vehicle explodes with them in it.
That concludes our guide on Halo Infinite vehicles. Vehicles have always been a major part of Halo’s allure, so it’s great to see that Halo Infinite is giving vehicles some much-deserved love and attention.
