Boosters offer passive bonuses to make life smoother in Helldivers 2, but it's not always fully clear what certain Boosters do. The Localisation Confusion Booster, in particular, lives up to its name, and the in-game description on Helldivers 2 does us no favours. This primer dissects the game's latest Booster, including how to get it and what effect it has on gameplay in Helldivers 2.Â
How to get the Localisation Confusion Booster
The Localisation Confusion Booster is available inside the Cutting Edge Warbond. This Booster is listed on Page 1 for 18 Medals.
The Cutting Edge Warbond is a Premium Warbond, so to get the Localisation Confusion Booster, you must purchase the Cutting Edge Warbond for 1,000 Super Credits, then unlock the Booster with Medals.
How to use the Localisation Confusion Booster
After unlocking the Localisation Confusion Booster, you must visit the Armory and apply the Booster under the Booster tab.
The in-game description for the Localisation Confusion Booster reads, "increases the time between enemy encounters", but what does that mean exactly? Well, when a Helldiver is equipped with this Booster, Automatons and Terminids will call in backup less frequently. You won't see nearly as many Automaton Dropships and Bug Breaches when using the Localisation Confusion Booster!
Automaton Dropships and Bug Breaches can really throw a wrench into the works of a mission, and they're difficult to counter, too, unless you're paying very close attention and acting fast when enemies begin requesting reinforcements. The Localisation Confusion Booster is especially handy on higher difficulties where foes are stronger, and getting overrun by mobs can lead to failure.
Altogether, the Localisation Confusion Booster is definitely one of the better Boosters available in Helldivers 2 and will passively make your missions easier!
