If you've not received your Medals from a completed Major Order in Helldivers 2, you might be entitled to compensation.
The Medals issue with Major Orders has caused confusion and frustration among fans of the game, but thankfully there are some answers for what's going on - so here's all you need to know.
Why didn't I get Major Orders Medals?
There are two reasons confirmed to explain why this happens: staggered rewards, and your Medals being full up. The first is good news, and the second is less great.
Helldivers 2 staggers rewards
When Major Orders are completed, all players get the Medals promised as a reward. However, many players have noticed that although a Major Order has been finished, they haven't gotten their Medals.
This is because Helldivers 2 staggers the release of Medals from Major Orders. Perhaps there is a technical reason why giving every player a chunk of medals at once isn't feasible, but this is the way it goes.
If other players are receiving their Medals and you haven't gotten yours yet, don't worry. Yours are on the way, you might just need to wait a day or two and you'll get your Medals when you log in.
Your Medals might be full
As it happens, there is a cap to how many Medals you can hold, to a total of 250. If you are full up on Medals, any further Medal drop will show up as zero. If you have received a notification telling you a Major Order has been completed but you get no Medals, that means you have hit the cap.
The unfortunate news here is that any Medals earned when your inventory is full will be lost. You cannot get them back, so be sure to spend your Medals whenever you get close to the 250 limit.
