The Deathly Hallows are the most powerful objects in the Harry Potter universe, and if you're playing Hogwarts Legacy, you will want to know if they appear.

The Deathly Hallows are made up of the Elder Wand, The Resurrection Stone, and the Invisibility Cloak, and they appear prominently in the Deathly Hallows book and films. Below, we will explain if any of these powerful items turn up in Avalanche's game.

Disclaimer: While the creator of the Harry Potter franchise was not directly involved in the creation of Hogwarts Legacy, their comments on social media around transgender people are hurtful and dangerous given the size of their platform.

We’d implore you to read our explainer of the controversy so far, and consider supporting trans rights charities where possible.

Can you wield the Deathly Hallows in Hogwarts Legacy?

Yes, the Deathly Hallows do appear in Hogwarts Legacy. However, you will not be able to wield the items freely in the game as they are used as part of a mission.

You get the chance to wield them as part of Niamh Fitzgerald's Keeper Trial after you have reached Level 23 and completed the Polyjuice Plot quest.

We won't spoil the mission they are part of, because it's worth playing through yourself. But you should know that you only have limited time with the famous items from the books, so make sure to make the most of the quest.=

You will need to use one of the items to earn the Bronze trophyThe Hallowed Hero, simply described as "wield a Deathly Hallow".

That's all we know about the Deathly Hallows, feel free to take a look at the full list of Hogwarts Legacy voice actors, including Simon Pegg as well as where to find Dogweed and Deathcap. For even more helpful tips, check out our Hogwarts Legacy homepage.
