If you’ve picked up Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and you’re wondering how long it takes to beat it, you’ve come to the right place to find out how long you’ll be swinging through the Big Apple.

Whether you’re someone who wants to dive straight into the game’s main story or want to pick up a few collectables and complete some challenges along the way, you’ll be spending plenty of time in those iconic Spider-suits.

So, read on to find out just how long it takes to beat Marvel's Spider-Man 2’s main story, and how long it will take you to get that sweet Platinum trophy for the game.

How long would it take to beat the Spider-Man 2 Main story?

It will take around 15 to 20 hours to complete Spider-Man 2’s main story, without accounting for collectibles and side-quests.

I found that when exploring the map, there is always the option to divert from the main story, along with interims, such as the MJ missions that would keep me on my toes and break up the story missions nicely.

And while there is certainly a lot to keep you occupied in the main story, there are plenty of other activities around the city for you to sink your time in, including working toward the Platinum trophy.

How would it take to Platinum Spider-Man 2?

On getting the Platinum for Spider-Man 2, I had clocked in around 35 to 40 hours, which was made up of hunting for the remaining collectables like Rare Tech Parts, looking for locations like the Big Apple Ballers Stadium and more.

While some trophies will naturally occur during the mainline quests, others require you to explore and go off the beaten path to achieve. There is plenty of time to do so in Spider-Man 2, so make the most of the vast open world and take your time (I certainly took my time finding Phin and Miles’ science trophy, now that was tricky).

That’s everything you need to know about how long it takes to beat Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. With this in mind, you’ll be able to complete all sorts of challenges, like finding Aunt May’s grave in no time.
