Beating the final boss
For this endgame brawl, the final boss, Bode Akuna, fights the dynamic nature of other bosses in the game up to now - each with their own combat styles and attack patterns.
As you finally make it to Tanalorr and face the traitorous Bode, versed in both Jedi and mercenary fighting tactics, you'll need to overcome a mix of both in order to win the fight. These include not only grenades and blaster fire but swift lightsaber strikes as well.
Best stances and attacks to beat Bode Akuna
In this case, the best lightsaber stances to use in the final boss fight is Blaster and Double-Bladed stances.
That's so not only can you inflict damage at a distance whilst avoiding Bode's ranged attacks with Blaster stance, but then be able to quickly close the distance and rush him with Double-bladed's fast but medium-damage moves like Vortex Dive, Endless Hurricane, Controlled Throw, and Repulsing Burst.
Best strategy to defeat Bod
Bode Akuna's attack pattern in the final boss fight alternates between grenades, blaster fire, lightsaber throws, and lightsaber attacks.
As a result, you'll constantly need to evade grenades whilst using your pistol in Blaster stance, getting ready to parry as he closes in to attack with his lightsaber, before getting a few strikes in yourself before retreating once more.
With Merrin as a companion here, you can also make the most of her attacks to interrupt Bode where possible - although, that option is only available for select parts of the fight.
The second half of the final boss fight steps things up a notch: As Bode gets angrier, his patterns become more aggressive. Along with using quicker and heavier lightsaber attacks that try and get close to you quicker, he'll also use both area damage and ranged Force slash attacks - avoidable only by jumping in the opposite direction of each swing.
At least a couple of times though, you'll be able to use the Dark side-infused Slow attack to continuously bombard Bode with monstrous strikes for extra damage - just remember that Bode can still strike back, which you'll need to parry.
Overall, just take your time. Keep your distance and only close the gap to hit hard when needed without getting carried away.
