Following Final Fantasy 16's The Wages of Guilt main story quest, Stormcry is arguably the best weapon you can get - but there's only one way to get it.

So here is everything you need to know about how to craft Stormcry in Final Fantasy 16, including the location and the weapon's stats.

How can you get Stormcry in Final Fantasy 16?

Crafting Stormcry in Final Fantasy 16 using the Wind Shard at the Black Hammer

Being the first purple weapon in Final Fantasy 16 - which you can acquire just by playing through the story - you can craft Stormcry in Final Fantasy 16 by reaching Chapter 15 of the game.

That's not all, though, as you'll need to complete a couple of additional steps before you can equip Stormcry.

Where can you craft Stormcry in Final Fantasy 16?

Even though you can only get Stormcry by crafting it, the only material you need is a Wind Shard, which you automatically get as a reward for beating the big boss at the end of Chapter 14.

Afterwards, when you're free to roam about the Hideway again, you just need to do the following:

  • Go to The Black Hammer.
  • Talk to Blackthorne.
  • Select "Use the Forge".
  • You'll see Stormcry at the top in the "Craft" section.
  • Hold X to craft, using the 1 x Wind Shard already in your inventory.

And that's it! You'll now be able to equip Stormcry to use within your adventures with Clive throughout Valisthea.

What stats does Stormcry have?

Now that Stormcry is officially yours to wield in Final Fantasy 16, this weapon boasts plenty of great stats, featuring 135 Attack and 135 Stagger. With this by your side, it'll undoubtedly have you ready for the next mission.

That's all you need to know about getting Stormcry in Final Fantasy 16 with information on how to craft it, its location, and the weapon's stats.
