How to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish into Overqwil in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Indigo Disk
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet players wanting to know how to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish into Overqwil in The Indigo Disk DLC can find out the evolution method here.
With its return from Legends: Arceus into the Indigo Disk DLC, lots of players have been searching how to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish into Overqwil in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. As the original Johto version doesn't evolve at all, it's no surprise trainers aren't sure how to get this newer variant's evolution.
So, let's dive into how to get Overqil in Scarlet & Violet.
How to evolve Hisuian Qwilfish in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
The only way to evolve Hisuain Qwilfish into Overqwil in Scarlet & Violet is by levelling one up whilst knowing the exclusive move, Barb Barrage - which it learns naturally at level 28.
The Qwilfish you'll with within the Indigo Disk DLC's Polar Biome will be at least level 60 and will have already replaced Barb Barrage in its moveset; all you need to do is get your Qwilfish to remember the move via the following steps:
- Go to Hisuain Qwilfish's summary page
- Go to the "Moves and Stats" tab
- Select the A button to "Change Moves"
- Select "Remember Moves"
- Select "Barb Barrage" from the list of moves available
Once your Qwilfish knows Barb Barrage, it will evolve into Overqwil after it levels up. If you want to speed things up a bit, you can use a Rare Candy or Exp. Candies rather than earning experience points in battle.
