How to get Shore Violet in Forspoken
Take a look at our explainer of getting the Shore Violet in Forspoken, which is a vital resource for upgrading the base stats for your magic types.
Forspoken throws you into the magical world of Athia and gives you plenty of tools to parkour around the world and defeat the various enemies. While you'll spend a lot of time fighting, during downtime there's lots of opportunity to scavenge materials for your gear. So, if you're looking for a guide on how to get Shore Violet, we've got you covered.
How do you get Shore Violet?
Shore Violet is a vital resource used for upgrading the base stats of your Purple, Blue, Red, and Green Magic, allowing you to increase the efficacy of your various combat, defensive, and parkour abilities.
It's mainly found in the Avoalet region, which can be accessed after you defeat the first Tanta boss. Due to how large this region is, you will need to use your cuff to scan the various areas, making it much easier to track down the plant. The Purple Magic spell Burrow is also massively useful here, as when activated, it will track down loot for you.
Along with finding Shore Violet along the ground in the Avolaet region, you can also find the resource when looting dead bodies and opening chests. For these methods, you don't need to be in the Avolaet region, but what you get every time you loot a body or open a chest is completely randomized.
This means the most consistent method of acquiring Shore Violet is exploring the Avolaet region and scouring the ground.
We also cover all the Forspoken parkour abilities, so you can see which ones make traversing the open world even easier.
